ABOUT THE ROLE
Dedicated route position serving a single contracted customer on consistent weekly lanes. Same routes, same stops, same schedule every week. No random dispatch β dedicated means dedicated. If you want OTR miles with predictable home time, this is it.
FREIGHT & ROUTES
- Dedicated single-customer freight β consistent lanes every week
- Defined multi-state territory β no cross-country assignments
- Live unload, drop-and-hook, or store-door depending on account
- Stable long-term contract β this account is not going anywhere
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean MVR β no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- No DUI/DWI or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- Professional customer-facing demeanor β you represent the account daily
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Age 21 or older

Why dedicated recruiting is different β and easier
Dedicated is the easiest CDL position to recruit for when described correctly. Drivers who want dedicated are choosing stability over maximum miles. They are not looking for the highest CPM β they are looking for the most predictable life. Your posting needs to speak to that directly.
- Lead with stability, not just pay β "Same lanes every week" is as powerful as the CPM rate for a dedicated driver candidate.
- "Single customer" is a selling point β say it. Drivers who have dealt with chaotic dispatch see dedicated as a genuine relief.
- Be honest about customer interaction β dedicated usually means more customer-facing time than OTR. Some drivers want that, some do not. Say it upfront so you attract the right people.
- Dedicated home time is more reliable β if your dedicated account genuinely gets drivers home every Friday, that is more valuable than an OTR position that claims "home weekly."
